The GMs were really paranoid at this event, not wanting anyone's interference from the wall, which is where they were letting people watch. The thing is, at that distance, the only spell I could get off would be Bind Sight, which lets me see the game from the perspective of another player or NPC. (The one spell worth having a Ranger for!) Anyway, I was not running interference healing anyone, it would not have been able to reach anyone, but the GM's were freaking out about it. People only wanted to see what was going on in the arena .. they need "magic portal viewers"  for the outside to watch (you know, modern day big screen tv's) The only SPELLS being cast that I know of were telescope type spells.

Brewko (one of the GM's) came to check out who was casting on the wall. The GM's finally insisted that we all SIT. Meanwhile, I did manage to get off one last  Bind Sight, to Brewko. He then ran LITERALLY off the wall and off the zone! Now, he was SUPPOSED to be in the arena to fight. Boy ...  yeah.. that sounds fair. <cough> CHEATER <cough>
